The devastating earthquake and tsunami that wrecked many areas along the Indian Ocean towards the end of the past year has aroused widespread attention from the rest of the world community and provoked relief efforts from many countries. Amidst this lasting heat of relief endeavor, Messer China was actively involved in the efforts by calling for donation from the employees as well as from the company budget. Up till January 12, 2005, the donation had accumulated to around Rmb 220,000 and was delivered to Shanghai Red Cross.
