On this Children's day, the two Messer Group Management Board members - CEO Stefan Messer and CFO Dr. Hans-Gerd Wienands, together with their wives, paid a special visit to South China's Yunnan Province to witness the opening of "Messer Yunnan Hope Primary School".
In a joint effort with the local organization "Yunnan Youth Development Foundation",YMG donated 256,000 rmb to build a rural primary school in Foshan village, Deqin county of Yunnan province.
"I am pleased to see that beyond the brands we offer Messer has well merged into the local society. Children are our future. As a big international group investing in Yunnan, we are proud to have the opportunity to contribute to Yunnan's Hope Project to enable more drop-outs back to the school," said Stefan Messer in the interview by Yunnan TV station.
